Waiting Periods

To ensure the sustainability of the fund, waiting periods apply before benefits can be claimed after activation:

  • Bereavement Support: 60 Days waiting period.
  • Medical Support: 90 Days waiting period.
  • Catastrophic Emergencies: 90 Days waiting period.

Required Documentation

The following documents must be submitted digitally via the member portal to initiate a claim review:

  • Bereavement Claims: Official Death Certificate, Burial Permit, and Funeral Programme.
  • Medical / Hospital Claims: Admission Letter, detailed Medical Report, and Discharge Summary.
  • Other Emergencies: Relevant official supporting documentation as required by the committee.

Eligibility & Processing

Important rules regarding welfare claims processing:

  • Processing Time: Approved payouts are processed within 48-72 hours after receipt of complete documentation and committee approval.
  • Active Status: Claims will only be approved if the member's welfare subscription is active and has no outstanding dues at the time of the incident.
  • Single Incident Rule: Welfare support is restricted to instances defined in the official policy document.
